Susie’s Place served 513 kids and their families at our Bloomington center in 2023. We're growing to include:
- A new, second family waiting area that improves family privacy and security.
- An additional forensic interview room that, combined with a second waiting area, will allow for simultaneous forensic interviews.
- Additional staff and multidisciplinary team offices and meeting spaces.
- Improvements in security systems, a new clothing closet, and more
- A new on-site medical suite for physical exams by Pediatric Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners or trained child abuse physicians.
Together, these improvements will reduce the time it takes for kids to receive services from Susie’s Place and improve privacy and safety for kids, families, and our staff.
Reserve naming rights on a 3-5 year commitment on any of these dozen new spaces:
- Whole Child Advocacy Center – $25,000/year (5-year commitment)
- Pediatric Sexual Assault Medical Exam Suite – $20,000
